Amongst the housing crunch, landbanking and the rush to turn unused commercial space into overpriced co-working offices, there are very few affordable spaces left for creative people to work.
Brimbank City Council are seeking applications from arts practitioners working within any of the arts disciplines (visual, literary, performing, media) looking for a creative space in a supportive arts environment. Artists who live in Melbourne’s west are encouraged to apply.
They welcome diversity and encourage submissions from First Nations peoples, people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds and people with disability.
Current vacancies:
- Keilor Community Hub Studio: A shared studio space for two, located upstairs at the Keilor Community Hub.
